When I arrived in England, and more precisely in the small town of Coventry, I thought I would stay alone for one year. Just go to class and then come back to my room. The same day every day. I didn't think I would have the chance to meet new people from the second day... English allows me to make connections, to feel part of something bigger, something special. Even if it's hard sometimes, I try to understand, to speak with everyone around me, whom I meet every day, because I know that this experience will allow me to write again.
For a long time I thought that writing with my imagination was enough to succeed, but in reality, it is the life around me that becomes my real source of inspiration. Write what I see, what I really feel in my heart to finally understand myself and understand the world around me. Write about the movement of people walking in the street.... Write about this life that I see every minute and in which I take a full part. Write about Nature to feel its beauty.
Today, I am no longer afraid to go meet new people, to go talk to them, even to feed squirrels in a park with an old woman who was walking alone and needed a little company. For a long time I was alone; writing was my only company. It was my ally and a way to make my voice heard when words were lacking.
I finally understood that Life was too precious to live it alone...
I am now ready for this new adventure that begins, and that I intend to live day after day, with my eyes wide open. A million dreams live in me, and today I have realised one: to have the courage to go to England and start a new chapter in my life! Am I scared!? Of course I am... but I want to see what happens tomorrow, and every other day after that!
